Michael Mitchell, OMM, CD, MA, is an award-winning singer, songwriter and storyteller. He is on a never-ending mission to stir up some patriotic spirit in the hearts and minds of all Canadians through lively songs and humorous stories of our history, geography and some of the wacky oddities that identify us as Canadians.

Michael has given more than 5,000 of his popular Canada Is For Kids shows at schools, fairs, festivals, and conventions throughout the country, and has travelled to some of those shows in everything from float planes to dog sleds.  He is the former co-host of the CTV children’s program Story Time, and has also written and recorded songs for Sesame Street and PBS.

Don't wait!

Book your CANADA IS FOR KIDS show now. This may be Michael's busiest year ever, so don't wait too long to lock in a performance for your school or community.

The children talked about your songs and their favorite parts of the show for the rest of the week! Many classroom teachers have said that all they want to hear is Michael Mitchell. It was a wonderful experience having you here. Thank you again for making your concert interactive and meaningful for the children. They will truly never forget this event!”
