You don't get more Canadian than this...
Emmalee's parents brought her all the way from Surrey, BC to Saanich on Vancouver Island so she could attend Michael's performance at the annual Central and North Saanich Agricultural Fair. She dressed from head to toe in Canadian clothes and flags and sang along to just about every one of my songs. I think she knows the lyrics better than I do!
As the years go by, I'm encouraged to see so many kids wearing clothing that shows their pride in Canada, and demonstrating in other ways that they are aware of how lucky they are to be living in this country. These kids are our nation's future business, political and spiritual leaders and we must ensure that they have every reason and opportunity to be inspired to expand their awareness and love of 'the greatest country on Earth'.

Some schools are like a second home.
Some schools have had Michael back so many times to perform for them that it's like coming home to his second family. Here are the record holders:
- St. Monica School, Edmonton, Alberta - 12 times and booked for a 13th visit in 2010
- Northdale Central Public School, Dorchester, Ontario - 12 times
- Prince Charles Public School, Newmarket, Ontario - 11 times
- Sandowne Public School, Waterloo, Ontario - 8 times
- More than half of Michael's shows are return visits to schools that have had him before. Some now make it an annual event in order to have a rousing Canadiana celebration every year.
